Mumbai, 19th August 2024: Former Ambassador to the UN, T P Sreenivasan’s compelling new book Diplomacy Liberated: The Golden Treasury was launched at Somaiya Vidyavihar University. The author, who is also an Adjunct Professor of Eminence & Mentor at the university, presented his work during a ceremony graced by Prof. V N Rajasekharan Pillai, Vice Chancellor of Somaiya Vidyavihar University, alongside other distinguished guests.

Former diplomat T.P. Sreenivasan has a distinguished career as India's envoy to the UN In New York, Nairobi, and the International Atomic Energy Agency, Vienna. Post his retirement, he has been involved with improving higher education in Kerala and has been associated with Somaiya Vidyavihar University as an ambassador faculty for international relations. Diplomacy Liberated: The Golden Treasury is a timeless collection of articles by T.P. Sreenivasan, drawing from his 37-year career as a diplomat with the Government of India and 20 years of continued engagement post-retirement. The book is a celebration of the author’s profound knowledge and experience spanning eight decades. The foreword has been kindly penned by KM Chandrasekhar, the Former Union Cabinet Secretary.
