16th August 2024, Mumbai- Somaiya Vidyavihar University is pleased to announce the appointment of Prof.(Dr.) Satish Modh as Pro Vice- Chancellor- Strategy and Dean- Faculty of Commerce and Business Studies, effective from 13th August 2024.
Prof. (Dr.) Satish Modh brings years of experience and expertise, having served as the Professor and Director of Vivekanand Education Society Institute of Management, Mumbai for 10 years. His roles at NMIMS University, Mumbai, The Aeronautical Society of India (Mumbai branch), Air India Aircraft Engineers Association, and Air India, show the vast range of His experience in key strategic positions.
Prof. (Dr.) Satish Modh has also contributed to the field of business ethics, through his inputs shared with renowned publications. His work focuses on workplace well-being. His expertise has been recognized internationally as a speaker at the University of Southern California, Ohio State University, and Michigan State University. Prof. (Dr.) Modh has also been nominated for several prestigious awards, including the Outstanding Reviewer Award at the Academy of Management conference in Boston in 2019 and the Dewang Mehta Award for outstanding contribution to education in 2014.
