Job Description

 

Qualification: Graduation, Preferred Bachelor’s degree in Physical Education. Exercise Science

Certifications (any one or more):
Certification in Table Tennis Coaching (TTFI / state-level recognized bodies preferred).

Sports Achievement: Former professional, national, or state-level Player is highly preferred

 

Required Experience: Minimum of 2 years of Table Tennis coaching experience and as a competitive player. Experience working with children or youth programs is desirable.

•Conduct Table Tennis sessions for beginner, intermediate, and advanced players across school, college, and academy programs.
•Teach fundamental and advanced techniques, game rules, footwork drills, service/returns, and match play strategies.
•Organize performance assessments, internal matches, and technical workshops.
•Prepare student-athletes for inter-school, inter-college, inter-university, zonal, state, and national competitions.
•Assist in player selection, match planning, and travel arrangements for tournaments.
•Monitor player development and provide feedback for improvement.
•Identify and nurture talent across age groups (junior and senior batches).
•Offer one-on-one coaching where needed for high-potential or special-focus players.
•Collaborate with strength & conditioning teams to enhance physical readiness.
•Maintain attendance, training records, and progress reports.
•Assist in planning Table Tennis events, leagues, and demonstration sessions.
•Coordinate with internal stakeholders to ensure proper use of facilities and equipment.
•Ensure discipline, sportsmanship, and safety during all sessions.
•Monitor student behavior and support their overall physical and mental wellbeing.
