Junior Research Fellow/ Project Associate-1 for DST (WMT/TDT) sponsored Project

 

Applications are invited from qualified candidates for the post of Junior Research Fellow/ Project Associate -I (JRF/PA-I) under a research project sponsored by Department of Science and Technology (DST/TDT-WMT), New Delhi to be executed in the Department of Mechanical Engineering, K J Somaiya College of Engineering, Mumbai- 400077

Qualification

Essential: Candidate should have first class in M.Tech./M.E in Chemical Engineering / M.Sc. in Chemistry (In case class is not mentioned in the degree, 60 % or 7.0 CGPA will be considered as first class).

Desired: Preference may be given to NET/Gate qualified candidates

Age

The upper age limit is 28 years at the time of appointment.

 

Fellowship

Rs. 31,000 + HRA (First 2 Years)

Rs. 35,000 + HRA(3rd Year )

 

Nature and duration of post

The position is purely temporary and co-terminus with the project. The maximum duration is of 3 Years with a possible extension of 6 months as per the approval of the funding agency. The PI and Institute reserve the right to terminate the engagement of the Research Fellow at any time, if the performance is found to be not satisfactory.
