Applications are invited for Teaching and Research Associate (TRA) positions in Computational Biology & Molecular System Biology under the faculty of Sciences for Somaiya Institute for Research & Consultancy.

Number Of Positions – 2

Requisite Qualifications:

Post Graduate Degree in Life Sciences / Biotechnology/ Bioinformatics/ Computational Biology / related Life Science discipline with minimum qualification of 55%.

Requisite Experience: The Candidate with the following experience / skill sets will be preferred:

• Coding with Python and R for computational background.
• PHP or other web technologies and MySQL.
• Linux environment and be able to do shell scripting.
• NGS data analysis.
• Lab- based cellular assay/ Molecular Biology Techniques.
• Fair knowledge of Statistics.

Responsibilities:

• Actively pursue doctoral research
• Teaching assistance for a minimum of 10 hours a week, Each RTA will receive a stipend of INR 31,000 / month.
