The 39th Maharashtra State Junior Athletics Championship 2025 turned into a proud moment for Somaiya, as our student-athletes showcased exceptional performances across track and field events.

Roma Tandel, representing K J Somaiya College of Arts and Commerce, won gold medals in both the Long Jump (5.55m) and the Triple Jump (10.82m).

Yogita Harshad Samant, also from K J Somaiya College of Arts and Commerce, soared high in the Pole Vault event to secure the silver medal with a clearance of 2.10m.

Swanandi Sawant, from K J Somaiya College of Science and Commerce, clinched silver in the 200m sprint (25.20s) and bronze in the 100m hurdles (14.96s).

These achievements reflect not only their talent and determination but also the strong training, guidance, and support system at Somaiya Sports Academy. We congratulate them and wish them more success ahead.
