K J Somaiya Institute of Management is hosting the launch of Vruddhi – A Journey Towards Personal Growth, co-authored by Dr. Shailaja Karve, Professor, HR/OB Area, and Dr. Vidhya Thakkar, Assistant Professor, HR/OB Area.

The book, born out of daily “chai pe charcha” conversations between the two colleagues-turned-friends, blends practical strategies, reflective exercises, inspiring anecdotes, and thought-provoking stories to guide readers in building self-awareness, setting meaningful goals, embracing lifelong learning, and cultivating the courage to live a fulfilled life.

The event, scheduled for August 14, 2025, at the Sahir Library, is being graced by Chief Guest Mainak Dhar, Managing Director India, McCain Foods, who will be speaking on Leading with Purpose, inspiring attendees to align personal growth with purposeful leadership.

Dr. Raman Ramachandran (Director, K J Somaiya Institute of Management) will be addressing the gathering, highlighting the book’s relevance for students, early-career professionals, HR practitioners, and anyone seeking to shape their own life story.
