Somaiya Chashak 2025, a district-level badminton tournament, was organized to celebrate the birth anniversary of the respected Late Padma Bhushan K. J. Somaiya.
Thanks to the leadership of Shri Samir Somaiya, Chancellor of SVU and President of SVV, the Laxmiwadi Sports Academy provides a platform for young athletes, especially from rural areas. The academy has four badminton courts, a large cricket ground, a squash court, and a 400-meter running track. Its goal is to help nurture and develop rural talent to become future sports leaders for the nation.
Somaiya Sports Academy is proud to support and be part of this vision. A special note of appreciation goes to Mr Aazaz Khan, Director, Somaiya Sports Academy, and Mr Aditya Singh, Senior Manager, Somaiya Sports Academy, for their continued efforts and commitment to empowering youth through sports.
