Our Maya Somaiya Library at Somaiya Vidyavihar's Shri Sharda English Medium School, Kopargaon Maharashtra, has been awarded with the Beazley Award 2019 for Architecture by the Design Museum London.

We are delighted, and humbled to have been announced winners of the Beazley Award 2019 for Architecture by the Design Museum London, and follow in the footsteps of the incredible work by previous winners Sir David Adjaye & Heatherwick Studios.
It was a huge honour for us just to be a part of this group of incredible architect nominees that included Junya Ishigami, Diller Scofidio among others.

We are proud of studio sP+a for creating such an aesthetic masterpiece.

A big big thank you to the nominators and the jury for recognizing our tiny Maya Somaiya Library project in India.
The Library is being exhibited at the Design Museum from now through February 2020.
