The education imparted in our schools is based on the principles and methods established by our Founder Shri Karamshi Jethabhai Somaiya in 1959, to provide quality holistic education. All children have the inherent capacity to absorb large amount of knowledge from the environment and this is the most natural and easiest way for the young children to gain knowledge. Education provision would be incomplete if we do not provide similar value based learning at the primary and secondary schooling level too! We run and operate six schools in rural areas with SSC and CBSE affiliation. And one school in urban area founded by Shri Samir Somaiya in the year 2012.The Somaiya School is the youngest institution on Vidyavihar Campus in Mumbai moulded by the late founder to provide stress-free education to all its students.
Somaiya Vidyavihar University has taken a decision of foresight to introduce and encourage Music Education and Training in its core subjects of Arts, thereby recognizing its importance and value in coming times.
Somaiya University is stepping into the world of Music and Performing Arts, with the world class facilities, equipment and the eminent faculty.

- The school has also won the award for “Enterprising Institution”.
Somaiya Vidya Mandir - Laxmiwadi
- Established in 1959
- Standard 5th to 10th and overall 13 divisions
- In march 2009 the passing percentage of students was 99%.
K J Somaiya English Medium School
- Established in 2004.
- School has classes from Nursery to X standard affiliated to the Central Board of Secondary Education, Delhi.
- The sprawling campus spread over an area of 5 acres 35 guntas.
Somaiya Shishu Niketan Primary School
- Established in the year 1974.
- School has classes from Lower K.G to VII Std.
Somaiya Vinaymandir High School
- Established in the year 1984.
- School has classes from VIII Std to X Std.
Shri Sharda English Medium School
- Established in the year 1975
- School campus spread across an area of 12 acres.
K.J.Somaiya Secondary School,Nareshwadi
- Nareshwadi Learning Centre located on a 12 acre campus in the lush green environs of the Experimental Farm of Giri Vanvasi Pragati Mandal.
- Karamshibhai founded in 1974 as an Integrated Rural Development model.
